I respect our constitution and the role of the Supreme Court. As a fair-minded Iowan, I oppose any attempt to undermine or influence the judicial process. I have a deep respect for the independence of our judiciary – it is a critical piece of our democracy. I believe our elected officials should respect the role of the judiciary and not advance a constitutional amendment to promote discrimination.
